For those who do not know me, I started in Wire Fox Terriers under the mentorship of Eve Ballich.  I took the name from the French,
My Earth, because my dogs are the foundation upon which I live my life.  They are what gets me up in the morning.  In addition, the
"Terre" also incorporates the terriers which I love; I love their feistiness, their humor, their sense of adventure and their delight in everyday experiences.
Although not "true terriers", I do love the personalities of the Tibetans...and I love the fact that,
unlike Wire Fox Terriers, you can actually keep several of them without them killing each other
(I know, I know, Tibetans fight too; but trust me, fighting amongst Tibetans is mere squabbling between siblings
when compared to fighting Wire Fox Terriers).

IVYGLENN,

 AKC REGISTERED PRE-FIX FOR ALL_BREED

Ivyglenn has special meaning to me because it is the result of a long search for something incredibly beautiful that could be AKC registered and at the same time tie into the Castle theme part of the city I live in. My second choice was going to be Knightstale or Knight Country because we actually live in a place called Paradise, Indiana (no joke) and we have a big high school called Castle, and they are the “Castle Knights” However, I knew I wanted an AKC registered prefix and in the old days when you registered it for all-breeds, the requirement was that no other breeder of ANY breed could have previously used that prefix.  Knightstale and Knight Country could not be a protected name so I went with the one that could be, Ivyglenn!!  I’m so happy though because the other one’s were way too long!!

Pronounced just like it sounds…Ivy Glenn

NANZUE

My kennel name is Nanzue (pronounced nan-zoo). It is an interesting
story how I got it. I had been pouring over a Tibetan dictionary for
about 6 mon and didn't find anything that really piqued my interest.
Then one day I was at a show and a friend sat down beside me. I
happened to mention that I was having a problem getting a kennel name.
He took out a pen and a piece of paper and said "How do you spell your
name?" (Suzanne)-within about five seconds, he had dropped the "S"  and
switched the other letters around and came up with Nanzue, which even
sounds Tibetan. (He was drunker than a skunk at the time too). I'll
 never forget that day.
